My trail name is Captain Midnight. My nickname at work is M80, or sometimes The Quiet Man, and occasionally Goldilocks.
Where do you live?
I live in Wrentham, Mass. I grew up in this town, left after high school, lived all around Boston and Mass, lived in Minneapolis, lived in NYC, and wound up back where I started.
What is your age (or) generation?
I am 35 years old. I'm keeping an eye out for a 1975 Black Handled Super Speed V1 to be my birth date razor.
What are you in the real world?
I am a proud Union Ironworker with Local 7, Boston MA. Mostly I work the high steel, doing steel erection. The last big project I worked on was Russia Wharf, a 32 story high rise on Boston's waterfront.
What is your favorite shave setup?
I'm still too new to have a favorite, but my current setup is a 1958 TV Super Speed Flare Tip, Feather blades, Omega boar brush, Proraso shave cream, Alum block, and Old Spice AS (old formula). Also, I am a cold water shaver. Sometime soon I will be writing an in depth post about my cold water techniques and thoughts about cold water shaving.
What are your hobbies and favorite activities?
Aside from wet shaving, I enjoy backpacking, kayaking, snowshoeing, sledding (I have a Mad River Rocket). Another hobby is craft beer, I am planning on getting into home brewing soon. I spend a lot of time on Cape Cod. I have an endless list of home improvement projects. (SWMBO has an even longer list for me.
) Currently I am getting underway with the re-siding my house with cedar clapboards.

I make a mean Mac and Cheese.
