FS: BRAND NEW Kanoyama (Kanayama) 30,000 cordovan strop

How often do you see one of these on the BST? There's good reason for that.

This is a new and unused Kanoyama 30,000 cordovan strop from JimR's online store. I only took it out of the plastic twice to look at it and admire it, but I didn't use it since I already have another Kanoyama strop. The leather on the 30,000 is actually very thick and there's barely any difference between this one and my 50,000. There are minor imperfections in the leather underneath/next to the buckle, but they're not anywhere near the stropping surface and they will not affect the function of this wonderful strop.

I purchased this strop as an extra and am really considering keeping it. Someone please buy it and drive this madness away...you get it for almost ten bucks less than it cost me and I'll cover the added cost of shipping. I'm asking 160 USD

I ship via USPS with tracking (either delivery or signature confirmation). If you want insurance, please ask for it, because I cannot cover the cost of every package I send out. The strop will be very safely packed just as Jim sent it to me.

I got one of those as my daily strop and it's a fantastic strop. If you heat up the leather with the palm of your hand before stropping, it makes a higher drag!

If the leather is warm, I would the drag is comparable to horsehide...

Hah! You won't get me - I've already squashed my shaving budget with the purchase of two Shavemac D01 brushes.

That is a nice strop, though. First time I can recall seeing one on the BST>
