Love the shape! What are you going to use for a finish? I have some Tung oil coming from Don McIvor I am going to try on oily tropicals.
Beautiful! I have a b/w ebony in PJ with 22mm best on it's way from Rudy. But the shape on that one is pretty sweet.
Note to self: contribute so I can have my cool sig again :)
Finish? Probably go with teak oil again with some sort of poly over top maybe. I need to make sure the finish is a little thicker on this one, the boar I just got done I need to refinish.
I was looking at brushes last night and for some reason a Simpsons Eagle with the knob at the end popped into my head during the last 10 min of shaping. I was like HEY! If I take this piece of blade steel scrap, grind it square, and use the chainsaw file to make a half round right in the middle, I can make a little knob cutter! It went from thought to done in less than 5 min.
