I've been headshaving for years. I don't know any guy who's done it and regretted it. It just feels good!

You could always go with one of Shatner's toupees.

I started shaving my head with clippers when I started balding in my later teen years. The only disadvantage I have found is I'm 6'5", and thus bang my head on low objects on occasion. When you have no hair to act as little feelers, what would have been a small brush against something turns into a colossal bang, complete with stars in the eyes and everything! Ouch!

Not sure if I have the best head for it, but I shave my head every other day. My wife and kids prefer the look of the shaved-head over the reverse mohawk that I can naturally grow.

I think the comb-over may soon be a look of the past that will not return.

I am in the clipper group 1/16th to 3/8th's.

The comb-over or wig will never be worn by me but a ball cap works great for winter or if I will be in the sun for long periods.

Oh and a Fedora style hat works well with my Zoot suit.

I've been clipping my hair short for the last twenty five or thirty years. I look good with a buzz cut. Every now and then I'll shave my head, which is what I have going on right now. A shaved head looks and feels fine, but what's left of my hair grows real fast, so I really need to shave no less than one a day; twice is better. It's just a lot of work, even using a Headblade.

The difference is that a shaved head is not trying to "fool" anyone, while a comb-over is.

Based on what I see here shavers are particularly denigrating of any solution other than their own. So sad that so many still are apparently not comfortable in their own skin. If they were they would not be so vehement and dogmatic. Very interesting.
I think you got it wrong, comb-over is for people who think they have "the condition". People who shave their heads embrace it and think of it as the course of nature, not some condition that has to be fought.

I've been clipping my hair to 0 since I was about 25-26. I use Wahl baldfader and it's great for that. In no way am I trying to cope with a condition. I just think it works for me. I tried to cope with "the condition" at first by using rogain etc... but then I said f*ck it! And I've embraced it since then.
