Vintage Barber Chair

I can't say why but I want one.

If I had the space (and the money), I'd get one in a heartbeat!

Not I, SWMBO thinks it's beautiful, but you know paying the mortgage is more important.

Cool, but vaguely creepy and you can't shave yourself very well sitting in one. I would pass.

eBay has others that are cheeper but what a project to restore one.

Barber chair are way cool, I worked for an Interior Designer for 20 + years and in the early 80 restored this chair.
The works inside the base were really nasty, hydraulic oil and old haiy, yuck.
The rust suede kinda dates the restoration.

I'm redecorating after a Divorce and thought it would be a cool/Manly room statement and even good to watch the Longhorns play or for my Xbox time.

And your chair is Awesome! I like the wood and brass. The Suede is almost Burnt Orange which is Perfect.

I've been on the prowl for a barber chair for my workshop for years. Not so interested in the antique Kokens, and such, I'm much more of a fan of the 1950's vintage Belmonts.....
