Default FS: C&E Ironstone Shaving Scuttle- England

    SOLD
I've had this nice C&E Mason's Ironstone shave scuttle (Made in England) that's just not getting as much use - my bathroom just doesn't have the room and I've added so many other mugs and accessories. It's in pristine shape. Shave soap on the top, hot water in the bottom, can also be used to wet brush or dunk razor. The steam from the hot water makes the soap lather easier. This can also be used with thicker creams... overall nice scuttle.
    $38 $35 $30 $25 shipped CONUS
Dimensions: 4" tall, base width 3 3/4", diameter of soap dish 3", total length with handle and spout 7"

I have never seen a scuttle with holes in it before. Doesn't the lather drop through into your water?

The holes are very small and there's just a few. It's meant to be able to pour water over the soap or to have extra moisture from the brush/soap to drain down and the steam to come up... With this style, the water is not meant to stay totally clean. It serves a warming or dunking purpose but some soap residue will drain. That's meant to happen and why the holes are there.

I want it, but can't afford it!

Very nice price when you consider how much shipping must be. Good luck with the sale!
