Default Hello all, a reformed shaver.

I;m glad to be here . My face feels like it was packed in down feathers this very moment , because I just shaved my face with my new/vintage Merkur solingen w/Ingram cream , Which is an earlier version of the progress ,no ??? I'm in my mid 40's and never did this before . I tried it once ,years ago w/a fat boy, $14 at a flee market, but did not take to it because of the nasty drug store blades . Now I'm enjoying it very much . I started a little more then a month ago and have a wide selection of blades , a rooney 1/2 best badger ,and own 6 ! razors including the fat boy . All this started almost a year ago in England when my norelco was put to sleep, by the ex-ray device at the airport . I had to go back to a razor and chose a mark-3, and some Ingram brush-less cream, a 15 or 20 years old tube I got out of the bathroom cabinet . What a difference ! I didn't even need a moisturizer afterwards . Then I decided to look for a brush, and ....... well as they say the rest was history.

Have lots to talk about ,
    Alex

Welcome to B&B, glad you're here and glad you escaped the doldrums of humdrum shaving.
