Trying to find the razor that belongs in this case.

I just got a razor in a nice little bakelight case. It's a black case that is not quite in the shape of a rectangle. Inside there was a silver fat handled tech with a small pack of blades. When I looked it up, I found an English version, but not the U.S. version. The razor in my case looked just like the one on the Mr. Razor site, except mine was a U.S. version.
Is this the same razor just released in the U.S.? I can't find much info on this little set.

I picked up one of those about a year ago at the local Historical Society's flea market for $3. Mine had a black bakelite handled Tech in it. The head was nickel plated with the triangular slots in the base plate, indicating early Tech production.

I have come across the same razor from time to time without a case . . . in fact, I sold one earlier this month on eBay.
