Default How to melt Tobac and Nomad soaps...

I have both of these in refill pucks and would like to melt them into Old Spice mugs. Would a double boiler work?

I would not try to melt them. You may very well end up ruining them. Take a grater and grate them into the Old Spice mugs.

+1, this works very well. I wouldn't attempt to melt these soaps either.

    cheese grater, then mold them.

I suspect that the combination is not going to accomplish what you want. I tried it with trumpers rose and tabac and ... got the worst of each instead of the best. Like watered down coffee.

You can reduce the diameter of a soap puck to fit in a mug with a vegetable peeler - that way you don't have to grate down the whole puck.

EDIT: Sorry, I'm confused. Do you want to combine the two soaps into one mug or just make each puck fit into a separate OS mug?

Of course it's dark, it's a suicide note.

I'm not trying to combine them together. I just want to put them in a bowl separately.

In the future, you might consider just getting the Tabac ceramic bowl with the soap already in it. It's only $5 more than the soap refill.
I'm sorry, I thought this was America!
