Here's the end result of that first thread about these blades. Damascus with Silver Twill (Texalium) scales to contrast the Carbon Fiber scales of the O1 blade (#1). Photography is REALLY lacking on showing how nice this one actually looks.

Wow, those look amazing! How do they razors feel in use? They look like pretty hefty blades, and with that smile, probably not for the faint of heart..

I have never shaved with a straight but that sure makes me want to...Those blades are too beautiful to shave with! They should be framed for the art that they are!

Very nice. How do you handle grinding on smiles like those, do you vary the spine width so it can be ground to a perfect bevel simply or is it more complex than that?

Well, it's more complex to say the least. The spine width doesn't vary. I don't know how else to explain it really. It wasn't an easy project!
