Very nice razor.
I hear my RAD knocking on the door. Hold on, I am going to tell it No One's Home. Hopefully it works.![]()

Not to be a buzz-kill but '$85 firm' seems high without a case compared to one with the rarer case that sold in June for $64 or one that sold last month without a case for $50. Granted I'm no expert and probably have no clue what I'm talking about but just saying on what I've seen recently. Good luck.
While both razors are nice, the first had a handle with permanent blemishes as seen in the pictures, and the second had a "slight scuff on blade tray" and was Very Good by the sellers own admission. While a case is an enhancement, the razor is the star of the show and is what a buyer is paying for.
This razor has no imperfections like the $64 and $50 ones and is a whole category above them at Excellent and beyond. The difference between Very Good and Excellent translates into money.
I get the impression you are offended by my use of the word "firm." I am sorry for that if you are. I'm trying to find a buyer who understands he gets what he pays for. Superior grading acquired at the onset is part of the pleasure of ownership knowing you've got one of the best examples available.
The premium for that is quite small when you think about it, really.

I think this is a very fair price for this razor - if I didn't already have one, I'd be all over it. Great shavers these. And this one's a beaut.

VERY nice razor and nice, civilised discussion about the appropriateness of the price![]()
I think its a fair question. I have a Rocket HD, and i would sell mine for about $60.00 - 70.00. Mine is in very good condition without a case, and with a scuff. There are some people who want perfect/mint razors, and this appears perfect. I thought it was high until a saw the pictures and started drooling. My razor is 90% of what the OP's is... but to get that extra 10% you have to pay for it. It is rare for a razor to have that extra 10%... remember, we're talking about razors that are 57 years old.
BTW, not is only a beautiful razor, but they shave like a dream.
Good luck on the sale. She's a beauty.
