    Default Star 3 piece razor

    Got this Star razor recently and tried it out tonight. This razor looks like it's a brand new reproduction and not vintage. It looks very similar to a Gillette except it has the 3 holes like a Merkur. It seems to shave more like a Merkur Classic then a Tech. Next time I shave with it I'll do a get out a Classic and a Tech and do a comparison. Nice razor and a good price.

    Default Nice buy

    Glad to hear it's a good shaver -- just picked up a near identical Star razor at the local antique shop. Of course, mine just happens to be missing every bit of plating from the head Oh well... gives it more character

    Bob, That one doesn't belong in your "Odd and Unusual" section of your razor museum but rather in the Avant Garde Fashionista Section. What a DEAL!
