Default It seems I saved the best for last!

    Feathers!

Tried one this morning and wow I am impressed. I have been trying a bunch of different blades and for a while there, it seemed a few were very close to each other. Detbys, Astras, Gillettes etc. I began to differentiate them by 1. how well they performed on the 4th pass / clean up of tough spots and 2. on Shave reliability for the second and third day shaves, if a third day was possible. I found that the tough spot clean up was a big give away as many struggled with that task. One of my top blades up till this morning remained the Gillette Yellows (SuperEdge I think they're called) until I tried my very first "feather" this morning. Wow, what a blade! When it came time for the clean up at the end, I found that there was less of it needed and when I did do clean up, it was easier to remove. If this blade works for at least two days of shaving, it may be my "keeper" although I do plan a run off challenge versus the Gillette yellow blade which easily get me 3 days of shaves and worked pretty darned well for me all the way around. Feathers may in fact have the edge though. (No pun intended.)

If Feathers agree with you they pass like a hot knife through butter.
