G Smith Razor

Upon visiting my parents and sharing with them my new found interest in wet shaving, my Dad pulled out some of his Dad's old stuff. Among the items was an old straight razor with G Smith imprinted on the blade in its case.. I would like to know something, really anything, about this razor and manufacturer. I am getting fairly fluent in DE but this is a whole new world opening up. The blade very rusty and I am interested in having it restored professionally. Can any one point me in the right direction? Thank you
