Default Hope it Helps, and a question

So I have picked up a couple soaps, VDH Deluxe and Williams, to learn soaps on. I have been using the 4oz Nalgene straight wall jars because I'm a shower shaver and worry about glass droppage(I'm a fumbler). These are 2 3/4 id so they should fit almost all 2oz soap pucks for any other shower shavers/travellers plus the lids help them stack nice. Question is should I leave the lids off and allow soap to dry or just shake out the excess water and cap 'em? Tia!

I tend to try and let the soap dry back out. Seems like the harder stuff tends to separate out and develop a coat of ick on the bottom otherwise.
