  1. Default Is this a SuperSpeed?



    I found this pic, and I just wanted to know if this is a SuperSpeed, or if not, what is it? It's a Gillette, made in England, that's all I know ;)

    Also looking at another item, but no good pictures, yet....

    This is a Gillette Rocket, Flare Tip: the superior British version of the Super Speed. Nice!

    Well that's good.. cause I just bought it :D

    It was on ebay france, and at a price that is probably not bad.. 15 quid inc postage (17,50 euro)
    The seller seems good, over 500 evaluations, 100% positive.

    I'll let you guys know when it arrives!

    I shave with the Rhodium plated TV version of this razor (I assume the only differences are aesthetic) and I find it to be one of my favorite, if not my favorite, razors with a safety bar.

    what makes it superior?

    (not stirring, thats a genuine question. I find the US Flare Tips too mild to use)

    Thicker plating, better TTO design, heavier, and more solidly built.
