Possible Shedder?

I have a Simpson Duke 3 that I've had for about 6 months that may be a shedder. I've used the brush 15-20 times, and each shave its lost 2-5 hairs. On Tuesday I aggressively shampooed the brush and it lost about 10 hairs. I have since used the brush Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and it has continued to lose about 2 hairs per shave. Has anyone else had a problem like this? Is there anything else I can do about this?

I contacted the vendor, and I am awaiting their reply, but I figured I would post here as well. I purchased the brush from an overseas vendor, so I am hoping to not have to try to send it back.
