Default FS/FT: NIB Allen Edmonds Fifth Ave Walnut 12E (updated)

    SOLD!

UPDATED: Extra goodies thrown in further down the thread, and now also trading.

    Hey guys!

I have a pair of brand new Allen Edmonds Fifth Ave in Walnut size 12E. The only time these have been worn was yesterday in the store when I was trying them out. Included with the shoes are the AE shoe bags, AE Walnut shoe polish, and some cedar trees from Nordstrom Rack. I think all together it would be a pretty good deal for $275 -> $250 shipped CONUS/Canada and Paypal'd. I apologize for the cell phone pictures, if there is anything you would like to see specifically, please let me know and I would be happy to oblige!

I will also happily entertain trades for shave stuff. I'd like to get into straights, but am always game for creams/soaps/splashes so throw out some offers!

Did you buy these for purposes of resale/profit here?

That's a $300 pair of shoes, I don't think he is looking to profit. 1/2 size smaller I'd be on them.

Sorry for raising eyebrows, but no I am not looking to just make a quick profit. I'd be selling these at a loss.

I had purchased a pair of their Cascade boots at the AE store in Orlando a couple weeks ago and lost the receipt. I didn't really like the boots, but because I didn't have the receipt all they could do was offer me an exchange. I chose these because I do really like them, but if they'll sell I'll be using the funds to get a pair of Alden Indy boots. If they don't sell, then that's alright, I still have a nice pair of shoes.

Actually, looking around it seems that selling these shoes might be a lot easier than finding Alden Indy's in 11.5E in any color. If anyone has any tips for me, I've checked with Shoe Mart, Leather Soul, and Alden of Carmel.

Those are the places to check. Perhaps contact the factory.

I would imagine any of those dealers should be able to special order the shoe for you as well.

    Default AE's are great shoes.

Have you tried their factory store(s)? They may have unlisted stock.

I'll also throw in a bottle of Allen Edmonds Leather Lotion and one of their horsehair brushes. Both are new except for a few drops of the lotion I used on my wallet. And if you have some suede or nubuck shoes that need caring for, I have the AE suede/nubuck brush and protection spray as well. That's over $30 worth of extra goodies!

These are my size and I would love to grab them if they were here 3 weeks ago or in a few weeks! Hit me during my poor cycle

Bump, now entertaining trades for straights/creams/soaps/splashes. I've never used straights before, so kits would be awesome as well.

Frank, I might be PM'ing you at the end of the month if they're still around!

Oh yeah, I'm super familiar with AE's quality. This is my third pair of Fifth Ave's, and my black pair has been sent in for recrafting twice (one reheel and I splurged on the prestige package once....totally worth it). And I've already ordered the Aldens that I told SWMBO that I would only get if I sold these! I better sell these Fifths before UPS comes knocking on Friday!

BTW, the service at Alden of Carmel is absolutely fantastic. If anyone is considering getting a pair of their shoes I highly recommend speaking with Adam Knott.
