i just found out about these yesterday. my inner nerd is squealing with glee.

(and wondering how the heck i'm going to be able to convince swmbo $130 is perfectly acceptable for a mouse.

Wow..I you didn't say what it was I would've probly nver know what it was. Just curious, why such a steep price?

they're completely customizable for each individual user. you can change palm rest height, how far away the buttons are, weight, etc. one of the parts i love that i've never seen on a mouse before is the "sniper button". it's a little red button you can hit with your thumb when playing fps. it temporarily reduces the dpi so your cursor will move slower on screen... perfect for a headshot.

the r.a.t. 7 is the same thing, but it's the wired version. it goes for $100.

Hmm, not sure about that. I'll stick with my Razer. Not sure why you would ever need 5600 dpi. The thing just doesn't look comfortable whatsoever.
