Default Is it ever possible to wear a baseball cap well?

I've seen it pulled off, but rarely.

The only time a ball cap is appropriate is whilst participating in an athletic event, driving a tractor or painting a house.

Short trips to the hardware store are marginally acceptable, as long as it is in support of the above activities.

I wear a baseball type hat pretty much everyday. I have a uniform hat for my job. I were my favorite sports team hats daily when off duty. I don't wear hats on Sunday to church or to dinners and such. I think it is more socially acceptable now than it was years past. Guys used to wear suits daily....thank goodness for not having to do that. IMHO.

It's absolutely possible to wear a ballcap and look good doing it.
I think some people here have issues more with the concept of the ballcap as fashion accessory than with the hats themselves.

I will wear a hat when I'm out golfing on the weekends sometimes. Although, I always remove my hat when I eat. Most of the time if I am going to eat with people (except for fast food) I'll leave the hat in the car. No reason to bring it inside. I dont care if I'm alone at McDonalds or with a group of people at a 'casual dining' restaurant or at home. I always take off my hat when I eat.
