    Default Thayer's Super Hazel.

Has anyone used the Thayer's Super Hazel as an aftershave? I see it has witch hazel and glycerin in it. It looks like it would work as an aftershave. I have the Thayer's Aftershave Witchhazel and like it well enough.

Hi, I think lots of folks on this forum are using Superhazel as an after-shave (have a look in the reviews section). I'm a big fan of it; the soothing and healing factor is there, plus the cooling effect, plus a reasonable amount of alcohol. Good stuff!

It is good. However, all of Thayer's products are good. My favorite is the Rose Petal.

I think the superhazel is superior to all their other products. It contains a higher alcohol content than most of their other WHs, and the peppermint, camphor, and other ingredients are what really make this hazel super. I stopped using it as an aftershave, and started using it in preshave and it has done really well by me in this respect.

I use it daily, followed by an AS with a scent of my choosing.

I use it. After the shave, I cold water rinse with a face cloth, I moisten a block of alum, rub down the face, then after a few minutes use witch hazel to mop off the alum residue beofre doing the AS splash, followed by a moisturiser cream.
