Sweeney Todd Razors.... Scale Donors?

Hi,

I really like the look of the scales on some of these cheap ebay razors.

I know they wont shave worth a damn, but I was wondering of they could be a good choice for a scale donor?

I have a nice gotta blade here, that has no scales, and was thinking this might be a easy way to get a nice looking razor!

Thoughts?

You'd need to make sure that the scales would fit the blade you have but apart from that, why not.

If you're after some nice scales, Classic Shaving sell some very nice sets. It was one of their sets that I put on my Puma blade on the weekend.

There was someone, somewhere who made some with wood I think... Can't find it of course but yes, if you have the right size blade, I don't see why not, unless it's cheap plastic...
