AOS Brush mm sizes?

Does anybody have any idea what knot size (or what websites might post the size) the AOS brushes are?

My first brush was an AOS starter brush (the one that comes w/the $38 kits) and my second brush was the $180 AOS silvertip, which I'm told is around 24mm.

But the 24mm is WAY too big for me, and I'm wanting something only a mm or 2 larger than my starter. I've got a line on a 21mm, but am afraid it still might be too big.

Before I pull the trigger and buy this brush, does anyone out there have any idea how big the AOS starter brushes are. Knowing that would really give me a better perspective on whether or not 21mm is too big or not.

I had this same question about a week or 2 ago, you can probably find the thread on the next page or 2.

I was told the starter brush is a 19mm

Funny thing is I emailed AOS about it and I got a response telling me they were forwarding my question to an "expert" in one of the shops. I got no response so I emailed them again - the lady from the shop responded this time and asked me what I meant by "knot size." Yeah, she is an expert....

I think AOS as a whole is a joke. They make some good shaving creams, IMO, and everything else is just a bunch of hype and fancy packaging and advertising w/ some huge profit margins. Just my opinion.....(but how serious about shaving can you be when the entire company is clueless about knot sizes but yet you sell $200 brushes)
