    Default David Issard razors?

I have one, and had been wondering about the origins of it. But after seeing one for sale over at SRP, I'm curious if others know anything about the maker. My guess is that they were made in France, but that's just a guess. Could someone enlighten me about this maker? Googling doesn't seem to provide much other than a bunch of pages in French that I can't read.

I've only seen it on the French bay more often than the US bay. I have a David-Issard frameback and it is a good shaver and is strikingly similar to Lame de Thierrs (Welcome) in shaving quality. I really enjoy the Lame de Thierrs very much and pick them up when I can.

My guess would be someone making straight razor either before Thier-Issard or after... It's a guess...
