No, no affiliation from Em's place, but I just have to share my joy.

I have been wet shaving for about 6 weeks and have been very happy with the steady improvement in shaves. Less and less skin irritation, cuts, weepers, etc, while getting more CCS and D(darn)FS results. I've been working my way thru a blade sampler from bullgoose and have tried 4 different creams and 2 different soaps. Using Kyle's prep and the Four Pass Shave (minus the SN) from the tutorials also contributed to my improved shaves.

Now, I believe I've found another key element to my own, personal, perfect shave.

I've been using the pre-shave oil from Em's Place for about a week with very impressive results (you can find my review here at B&B) but I've also been using her shave cream sample for my last four shaves. The combination of the pre-shave oil and shave cream is giving me wonderfully close, irritation free shaves. Today's shave was as close to perfection as I've come.

Em's Place is a smaller vendor compared to some of the big boys out there, so I'm not sure if some of our newest members have heard of it yet. If you are trying out lots of different products in search of what works for you, take a look at www.shaveplace.com. All natural shave products at very reasonable prices. Also, I found the shipping to be very fast.

I've got the pre-shave oil, but now I've got to get some more of the shave cream and I want to try her soaps, oh, and I also want to try the aftershave balm as well... so it goes.
