    Default Lemme intr'duce myself...

Pushing 60 and going back to DE shaving. First time around was when records spun at 45rpm...or 78. Went to injector when Oswald got it...and now I am awaiting delivery on a pretty fair looking Red Tip. They sponsored some good boxing matches back then and kept a lot of ex GI's presentable. I guess I can give Gillette another go at this old mug!

I'll let ya know if I survive.

    Welcome back, Hat.

You will find that you are good company here. We have gentlemen who grew up shaving with a DE, and some who just learned about them recently. There are a few ladies, as well.

Let us know if you need anything.

    Default welcome to b&b

You'll like it here. I'm in your age bracket, and started with a DE, but I've learned a lot here. I bet you will too!

My father is nearly to your age (and twice mine), but I've somehow (er...thanks to the B&B gents) amassed more of the classic-rhetoric than he ever did. Howdy; you'll learn a lot both by reading and experimenting (while simultaneously damning and upholding that which you've read.)

Welcome to B&B and happy shaving!

Good choice with the Red Tip. I added one to the collection some time ago and it is a fine shaver.
