This coffee brewer is an excellent parallel to the French Press -- but finer grinds will not back up into the brew. Cleaning the device takes 30 seconds, you almost can't break the plastic --as opposed to the delicate glass of the French Press. And the coffee brews to a perfect level.

So if oolongs or pu-erhs are not your brew, this is the coffee lover's choice!

Do you have a link for where you got it for $18.xx? I checked Amazon and all I find are listings for it at $25...

this has been going back and forth from $18 to $25 on Amazon the last couple of days. just got keep an eye out. I saw the $18 at slickdeals (as well as some people with same question as you).
