There's a little story here. I won a small lot of blades from a nice lady in Missouri last week. I was interested in the blades because they had some Osco NOS blades, NOS Walgreens,some English Wilks and some NOS Personnas. I was the only bidder and there were about 35 blades. AND, I am thrilled with the blades. With shipping it was a whopping $7.95.

Sooooo, I grab the box out of the mailbox and notice it feels a little heavier than it should . I open it up and there's a note in there that says " I included a little something extra. I hope you like it. I found it at an estate sale." And this is what was included. It's a Senator, right? I had to clean it up a bit but it seems to be in excellent shape. Since I've been PIF'ing lots of razors lately, it was really good karma to receive this gift from a total stranger. This lady does not deal with shaving items. 100% of her items were sports cards. The blade lot was a unique sale for her, I think. Needless to say, I had to send her a handwritten thank you. I know this was a bit long and thanks for indulging me. This incident helps to renew my diminishing faith in the kindness of strangers. It was an unusual way to receive my very first PIF.

Thats fantastic - the quality of the razor aside its lovely to see someone making such a great gesture.. Instead of throwing it on the bay to see if it floats she gave it to somebody who she knows will appreciate it - and a very deserving recipient im sure!!
