Has anyone tried the PTFE coated Personna double edge blades from Ted Pella or Electron Microscopy Sciences (both companies seem to carry same line of DE, injector and SE blades).

Sorry, I didn't. The only PTFE coated DE blades I used are Souplex. And they are really nice btw.

I believe that most, if not all comercially available DE blades are PTFE coated?
One, two! One, two! and through and through...The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!

I have read where the PTFE just comes off first shave
is that true ?
