    Talking Vorpal

So, has there ever been a DE blade brand "Vorpal"? Seems like there should be.

If I were a razor manufacturer that's what I would have named my brand (see my sig)

Or, for a razor guaranteed to give you an exceptionally bad shave, you could call it the 'Vorpal Carpal'....

It's from Lewis Carrol's "Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There".
If I remember correctly from last I read it, she finds a scrap of paper with gibberish all over it, but realized that she is looking at backwards writing when she looks into a mirror.

Damn, I grew up on this stuff! The memorieeeees!

I don't think a lot of us want to be associated with "bald". Some do, no lie.

I went as far as to have made up a logo that I was looking into getting laser etched onto my cutomized razors. I did this logo about a year ago.

I found a partial package at Goodwill, most were rusty but there were two shiney ones left, protected by the huge wax dots holding them to the paper. Great shave, but every time it went "Snicker-snack" I got a weeper. I figure it was the flinch that caused it, maybe I'd grow to like them in time.

Great idea for a blade, but needs work.

    See here:

It is an amazing poem. Very graphic and precise even though much of the vocabulary is made-up, nonsense words like vorpal and Jabberwocky.

You'll note that the toves are part badger....

Tove — A combination of a badger, a lizard, and a corkscrew. They are very curious looking creatures which make their nests under sundials and eat only cheese.[5] Pronounced so as to rhyme with groves.[6] Note that "gyre and gimble," i.e. rotate and bore, is in reference to the toves being partly corkscrew by Humpty Dumpty's definitions.

that's too cool of a logo to let go to waste... At the least, see if you can't get a custom razor maker to etch it in for you... I like it.
