Default FS Intnl: 1921 Silver Tuckaway set

    SOLD

    Hi,

I'm selling some DEs, among them, this triple silver plated US made 1921 Gillette Tuckaway.

The plating on the razor handle, head & comb is intact & shiny, as is the blade holder & case.

All teeth on the comb are present, straight & smooth.

The case latches solidly with a nice click & the edges line up straight.

The velvet lining is complete & intact, the letters on the right side have started to fade, which is quite normal for a razor case 90 years old.

Obligatory hairline on the handle - but this one is so faint that I had to look hard at both ends to figure out where it was.

Beautiful open comb design, extraordinarily smooth shaver, this was probably my favorite DE of all, and I used it very sparingly, perhaps 5 or 6 times in all.

$90 shipped CONUS & Canada, elsewhere for a bit extra.

    Thanks.

Beautiful set. These Tuckaways are some of the classiest US made razor sets.

Indeed! I told my wife that the #15 would be my last purchase this year but the Tuckaway was too good to pass up.

Anyway, I am doing my bit to bring more nice razors down under.

LOL! You must post pics in the GSL thread of your burgeoning collection

It is good to see them coming downunder though

    Hi Chip

The Tuckaway has arrived safely and, as Jake said, it is a classy razor.

    And thanks for the extras.

    Cheers
    Paul
