    Default now for something totally different...

    Well, I decided to go ahead and try to make my own strops.
    I've used nice heavy 9oz red latigo belt leather, 2" wide and of course custom made the top and bottom hardware.
    There are leather lacings to secure the strop to what ever, and a loop of lacing to put around your wrist to help give a better pull on the end of the strop.

    Cool. I bet you could easily sell those. Nice touch to attach it to a classic pedestal.
