I have 90 Astra SP's and keep them tucked away in my Simpson MC 2 brush box to save space.

    German Wilkinsons 170
    Indian Wilkinsons 175
    Astra Superior Stainless 200

I have maybe 130 blades on hand. Thing is, I hear ASR is finally bankrupt for real. So, I'm going to order 100 each of Israeli Blues, BP-9000s, and maybe some of the Med-Preps as well by next month.

Luckily, I do favor other brands as well. But I really like the Personnas and I'm going to make sure I don't miss 'em as long as they're available!

I have about 20 Red Personnas left, 20 Astra Plats, 20 Gillette Bleue Extras, a pack of sharks, a pack of GEM Personnas, and about 60-70 NOS Schick Injector Platinum Blades left. Maybe 3 or 4 feather blades.

I was thinking I was getting low on blades, but maybe not after making a list.

I said it before and I will say it again, The penny pincher social group had the opposite effect.
I should be in the Blade Hoarders Social group! Now There is an idea. Membership only for those with over 500 blades in stock.

Yeah, well, you mugs have gotten me good and scared now. I'm gonna buy 100 Shark SC and 250 Personna BP-9000 for starters. I'll be in your club by New Year's Day, I think!

With all the rumors and speculation about the Russian blade factories moving/stopping production, etc. and the impending Shavepocalypse I called Barber Depot today and have 1100 blades coming. I may have to build an addition to store all of them.

I had thought about driving from Central NJ to their store but they aren't open on weekends and that would be the only time I could get there. After factoring gas and tolls it made more sense to just pay for postage.

I think I'm all set for the next few years...

B-b-but the packages are so bright and pretty! All those colors! Must get more colors ... Need additional hues ... Other countries' products ... Buy!

I just faxed in another order of 1100. Now I'm set for life.

Tho I seriously doubt they will stop producing Astras anytime soon.

Well, I have concluded I have too big a stock. I think 6000+ blades is enough.

You need to protect your stock: 2000 in your shave den, 2000 in your garage, and 2000 at an offsite location.

That's being fully hardware redundant. Good thinking!
