First shave Sunday went well. Meaning whiskers were reduced and virtually no blood. One small nick at the chin area but that was really the re-opening of an existing nick.
Biggest obstacle for me is how awkward it feels holding the razor and looking in the mirror. Tugging was a bit more than I expected but I'm sure it probably was an angle/technique issue. Becasue I was going so slow, had a lather drying issue but simply re-lathered to over come that problem.
I used it again this morning but did clean up with my DE so I would look more presentable for work and wouldn't have a lunch time shadow.
It's a shame young men aren't taught to shave with a str8 first. It would've been much easier learning with softer, immature whiskers growing in patched rather than full blown, steel wire whiskers all over.
