It must be Nathan's. Did you see how fast all of those people were eating those Nathan's hot dogs yesterday in Coney Island? I can only assume that this means that Nathan's hot dogs are fantastic.

I was wondering what happened to those.

I was interested to learn from this article that Hebrew National hot dogs are not actually considered kosher by many Orthodox Jews. I did not know that.

Dietz and Watson ball park beef dogs ( I had one for the first time last week). They were giving them out as samples at Costco and it was delicious.
I checked online and found a local butcher shop that carries Sabretts. I stopped by this afternoon, but evidently they took the holiday off. I will hopefully stop by tomorrow and pick some up. So far, they are the only one's I've found locally, although Meijer has a brand called Kowalski, but they only came in a 3 lb. package.

Gotta go Vienna. Never had Leon's Sausages. In a pinch though (or if they're on sale), Hebrew National and Nathan's both make delicious dogs.

    I have 2 suggestions:
    A) Your local Meat market (avoid the unsuper market or big box stores)
    B) The next best seams to be Omaha Steaks

I have to mention that here in Buffalo I think we have the very best local brands...............Wardynski's, Sahlen's, Redlinski's. I love hot dogs and never buy anything but our local stuff!

Hate to tell you this, but you'll need to purchase a plane ticket to Los Angeles. Then rent a car and head over to Pink's.

You might also want to use the opportunity for a trip to the Apple Pan to experience the best hamburger.

    Sabrett

Had one from a roadside dog stand on Long Island...with the natural casing...they're great.

Can find them OCCASIONALLY in PA grocery stores, without the casing, but they're still longer than normal dogs.

Had hot sauce, ketchup and a couple thick slices of bacon...

Yes, I said ketchup. I know, I know...I hear it all the time from my father-in-law...

It really is simple. Sabrett Beef hotdog's are what you want. Dirty Water or on the grill, they will have you hooked like crack cocaine.

What's the problem with ketchup? Ketchup is the base for all that is good. I eat French Fries because they are a delivery system for Ketchup. My mom used to make me ketchup sandwiches (she claims not ever doing that, but I remember).

Just bought 2 packs of Hebrew National last night (2 for 1)
