Default 3 pin Vs 2 pin handle

Hi, I have been looking at various straight razors for sale and at first I assumed that the ones with the 3 pin handle must be better since the seller often mentioned that fact it was a 3 pin. However, when looking at brands such as TI and Dovo it seems some of their more expensive models are actually 2 pin versions. Can anyone give me the brief pros and cons of the two types?

PS: This is my first posting, thanks for the opportunity to join.

I have managed to transfer this question to the Straight Razor section.
Thanks for all the input so far!
