    Default Merkur Progress

A Merkur Progress came for me today, improved with a fluted stainless steel knob by Mer (Eric). It is a beauty... This is now the best razor in my collection.

-I boiled this razor in a 9:1 solution of water and bleach. I turned around for about 30 seconds and the water was black. Don't use a bleach based solution. The handle still looks o.k. but somewhat faded. It's a good little shaver. You should enjoy it.
    Cheers,

My wife really liked my BBS face after my first DE shave last night, so maybe she'll make the occasional shave supply purchase for me in the future.

I decide to take all my straights to Lynn to get them Honed perfect so as I am learning to shave with them I know what the perfect blade feels like so when I screw it up I will know it. While I was there I could not resist:

After hearing a while back that many of the Sir Irish Moos products are discontinued I rode my bike to our local drug-store to see if they had anything from them left. All I scored was a deodorant-stick (which I dearly love), so at least I've got a spare one of those. No shaving cream-stick left, though, what a pity.
Anyway, I also purchased the following things:
    - Tabac AS 100ml
    - Nivea creme in the blue tub for my very dry skin
    - Palmolive Classic SC (EU version)
