Ok, now that I've gone through a week of shaves with the B&B razor and brush combo, I'm now going back to me shave fidelity routine and keeping the same lineup for every shave during the week. One small change though, I'm going to keep this same set up until I go though all of the different types of blades that I have access to, so that I will be able to figure out which blades work best for this new razor. Since I have US Personnas, Israeli Personnas, Merkurs, Derbys, Euro Gillettes, and Feathers, this little test should only take 6 weeks.

Almost BBS. I like the feathers much more after the second shave, from like a dozen nicks on day 1 to a smooth, irratation-free shave today. Just finished ordering a couple of soaps from mamabear, I look forward to those.

I haven't used a Merkur blade in a while and I was presently surprised. It gave me a shave better then a Derby, but only slightly worse then a Feather. Only time will tell this week how it feels.

I really need to stop trying to get 4 shaves out of my Feathers, ended with 2 nicks because of it. 3 passes again, WTG, XTG, 2nd WTG.

Merkur Futur w/ Feather (day 4) - after messing around with it today when getting rid of the feather, I found that I could move the blade holder thing to fix the uneven blade exposure. Now that made me really happy as I've been swearing at Merkur's inability to produce consistent adjustable razors
