Vintage Williams? Or just sorta old Williams?

I know, this thread is near useless without pics... I'll see if I can get pics soon.

The box looks pretty similar to the pic in the review page (http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?ltr=W&t=3147), but the "mug shaving soap" and weight are at the bottom of the box.

Ingredients:
TALLOW, STEARIC ACID, WATER, COCONUT OIL, SODIUM HYDROXIDE, POTASSIUM HYDROXIDE, FRAGRANCE, TITANIUM DIOXIDE, ISOPROPYL CRESOLS.

The front of the puck has the williams mug on it, the back says "The J.B. Williams Co. USA"

Worthy of being called "vintage williams" or just old?

That's Vintage Williams for sure.

For one it's Tallow First (the current product is tallow second), and for two it has the exact same formulation as the mid-1970's Bicentennial Williams box.

It's an amazing soap, on par with the lather from Tabac.

Is there a barcode on the box? Presence of the Bar Code would date the soap to the late 1970's, but before 1989 when the company name on the box became The Beecham Group, rather than J.B. Williams.

Also the presence of an ingredient list makes this product no older than the 1970's, as really old pucks of Williams have no ingredients listed on the box.
