Default FS: Adventure in Wet Shaving Package (combo)

PULLED. I'm recalling this listing. Thanks.

Ok I guess this package is not yet a good yet. So how about I include a few more items:
1-Mehl Special Straight Razor, 4/8" with celluloid scales. Comes with box. This has not been restored. Very sharp but will just a little cleaning and sanitizing before shaving.
2-Valet Autostrop gold toned razor. It has the swing type door. I've cleaned this but there is still some minor staining that I can't get out without sanding. No strop here.
3-Ever-Ready SE safety razor. This has been cleaned.
4-Gillette DE safety razor, date code is O4. This has been cleaned.
5-Durham duplex safety straight razor. This has been lightly cleaned.[/COLOR][/B]

I've decided to name this package "Terry's Adventure in Wet Shaving". I've included a little bit of everything so that the buyer will have a one stop shopping experience. You get a very good quality straight razor, two DE safety razors (one is a Fat Boy), a strop, DE hone, shaving brush AND a Rolls Razor complete with all parts! I will post a few photos. If anyone wants to see some specific shots please ask and I'll post it. I would prefer to sell this all as a complete set. However if you want a specific piece please let me know and I might consider. Please feel free to ask questions. Thank you for looking.

Challenge Cutlery Co Straight Razor 5/8" - $65
-This gorgeous razor is shave ready. The scales are original and shiny. This is a fantastic razor for both beginners and collectors.

A1 Extra Heavy Genuine Horsehide leather strop by Premiere - $25
-This strop does not have a hanging strap. It seems to have a few small stains on it which seems to have dried out on those spots. I have applied strop paste to these spots. You can see the dark spots on the strop. I'm sure they won't affect the stropping because these spots are lower then the surrounding areas.

    Gillette Fat Boy, E2 - $40
-The 1-9 dial rotates and clicks smoothly with very little resistance. The doors open and close smoothly as well. This razor is not as nice as the $100 one I sold recently but it's still a very good razor; one that will last for many years still. There is a little bit of wear showing on this razor mostly on the head. The handle of the razor is very shiny. The black numbering is gone on this razor.

Gillette Superspeed with case - $20
-This one has been restored. The top of the razor is shiny but there is a bit of brassing. The doors open and close very very smoothly. The handle and underside are shiny.

Carborundum, Aloxite No. 45 Razor Hone - $5
-For DE blades. This has been cracked and repaired by someone else. The hone can still be used I believe by rotating and flipping the blade. It comes with a vinyl case and a paper box.

    Vintage Shaving brush - $15
-I'm not sure what company made this brush. It says 'Made in England' on the bottom. It's quite soft so I would imagine it's most likely badger hair. I don't know what kind of material the handle is made from.

    Rolls Razor -$40
-This comes with the blade, handle, strop and hone. It's a complete shaving system in one box.

    Total is $210.

Buy it ALL as a complete package in Terry's Adventure in Wet Shaving and get the 3 items below for free. Price is $160.00 USD obo + shipping. Buyer pays for shipping - you decide how you want it shipped.

New items included in package (Retail value about $10)
    1 Styptic Stick
    5 Gillette blades
1 puck of Williams Mug Soap

Here's a bit more info on the Challenge Cutlery Straight Razor.

I looked in the Standard Guide to Straight Razors (3rd ed) on page 28 for their various grounds. There are 16 degrees of hollowness according to the chart. I would estimate that this straight razor fits in somewhere between 4 to 7 on that scale. Therefore we can categorize it as a half ground hollow.

If I was to place a value here. I would say $20 for the straight, $5 for the Durham, and $20 for the three safety razors. That's about $45 extra value here. I need to pay off bills so I would prefer to sell this whole lot together. Thanks for looking.

Please see photos attached. I'm throwing these items into the pot. Price remains at $160 obo. Buyer pays for shipping. Thank you.
