Default Old Brut, or perhaps Brut Spice?

After reading a lot of the threads here about mixing your own concoctions I decided to try one for myself. 50-50 Brut and Old Spice (Not shulton OS) And I have to say it's not bad at all. I may try an addition of Aqua Velva and call it Old Aqua Brut

I plan on mixing something from Bigelow, Brut and some kind of musk just so my wife can say I smell like a Big Musky Brute.

I doubt it would have occurred to me to try OS and Brut together, but that sounds good.

My first reaction is that the combination of the two sounds terrible.

I'll have to try it myself later.

In just the right proportions , O.S. and a light musk might play nice together.

How about adding some cologne to a very lightly scented A/S - say, Speick for example. How much would you add?

I'm still working on the right mixture of Lime Sec and Old Spice, 50-50 is NOT it, the lime overpowers the OS. My next attempt is going to be something like 3 parts OS, one part LS. Unless someone has already tried it and has a better recipe??? Hopefully??

I started with a sm. bottle of the cologne, added some Island Lime. Results were different, you can now smell both. Like you say, the lime can be potent - I think I used maybe a couple droppers full (no idea what exact measure that'd be). I prefer lime scent by itself but that's just me.

Cool. I was curious if it would work. Personally, I love the Lime Sec, but would love to try a Lime Spice.
