What's new

Who can name movies or TV shows that have shaving scenes.

Hindi/Bengali film "Detective Byomkesh Bakshy" (2015). Period crime whodunit, takes place in 1942. All sorts of cool vintage stuff on show.

"Bridge of Spies" starring Tom Hanks.

Within the first five minutes, there is a large, street-side advertisement for C. O. Bigelow pharmacies.

The Tonight Show ... Tuesday night, 26 Jan 2016, about 11:55 EST.

Jimmy Fallon shaves off the left half of Josh Brolin's moustache with electric clippers.
Then, he lathers him up with a brush (looks like canned goop) and holds the mirror while Brolin finishes the right half with a cart razor.

After the commercial break, Kate McKinnon comes out with a fake moustache, and Fallon peels it off her lip. (Does that count as shaving?)

A video clip of this will probably be available within the next couple of hours.

During the third season, third episode of "Homeland", Brody played by Damien Lewis get his his head shaved with a DE razor, but I don't know what brand it was.

Just watching a 1964 British film called The Bargee with Harry H Corbett (famous to Brits of a certain age for his role as Harold Steptoe) and he prepares for a hot date with a shave on setting number eight - presumably with a Gillette Slim (but I'm no expert on vintage razors).
