I cannot imagine that these have not been both cited, but here goes anyway. Both take place aboard trains.

First, there's Cary Grant on the 20th Century Limited trying to shave with a courtesy razor that is about half-the-size of a Merkur moustache. The look on Grant's face as he lathers up, inspects this minuscule razor and takes a pass is priceless.

• Number one/ 1969 movie :Charelton Heston played as the veteran quarterback of the Saints in the movie Number One. There is a scene in the locker room where he shaves with a DE and canned shave cream.
• Natural the (1984) has a shaving scene with Red and Pop shaving. I think one is using a straight and the other a DE.
• Next (2007) thers 2 shave scenes #1 Nicolas Cage was wet shaving with a black handled Twist DE. #2 scene Liz cooper( jesica Beil) buys some some shave supplies as Chris johnson ( nic Cage) ...he shaves using a black disposable
• Nineteen eighty four /1984, John Hurt carefully remove a very rusty DE blade from a wrapper, and carefully drop it into what appears to the top part of a three piece razor.
• Night of the Iguana the(1964)
• No Impact Man (2009) He wants to stop wasting so much stuff, and that includes razor cartridges, there is a shot in the trailer of him using a straight.
• North By Northwest (1959) Cary Grant. He has to shave in the train station with a Ladies Travel Razor.

I may be senile but I seem to recall an early episode of Happy Days where Richie (maybe) was shaving.

There were several episodes where the dad, Howard Cunningham was lathering up with a brush while talking to Richie, and I think he then used a DE. Couldn't have been a cartridge, and I'm sure it wasn't a straight. But I can't find the scenes.

OK, so this is kind of embarrassing, but about a week ago I was just clicking through the "Guide" on the TV and found a show that had two words in the title, both of which I found intriguing. The show was called "Bikini Barbershop."

I clicked on it, and the first thing I saw was a girl, NOT in a bikini but wearing a hoodie, shaving a guy using a bona fide straight razor. She looked like she knew what she was doing, and the guy showed no signs of irritation. The only weird thing was that she was using canned foam. Not sure if it was Gillette Foamy or Barbasol.

Has anybody else seen this show? I watched it for a few more minutes and it's not the kind of show I'm going to be watching in the future, but they showed about 5 minutes of this guy getting a real straight razor shave.

Randall, the show is based from my home state of Long Branch NJ, Its actually a real barber shop w hot girls shaving( think hot wings and Hooters), i will post the scene later when i get home, i have the series from Znet tv.
