Ran into this bit of titillation whilst cruising the Vicco Ayurvedic Medicine Site:

Dr. Henderson of Glasgow was the first to direct the attention of the European physicians to the use of the sandalwood oil as a remedy for gonorrhea and since his time it has been employed internally in many cases where copiaba and cubebs and previously failed. It is preferable to copiaba as it does not communicate an unpleasant odour to the urine nor does it so readily produce untoward effects.
