    Default Newbie Here!

Hey. I am just joining this forum. I have been researching and looking into doing a proper shave for a while now and finally took the plunge and ordered a lot of stuff. I have been shaving with a Fusion for the past 4 years, and decided it just wasn't cutting it so I looked into other methods and came across this board. I would just like to give a shout-out and a big thank you to Fendrihan for supplying me with my setup. I was having problems ordering stuff from Amazon (blades and wooden shave bowl) and shipping to Canada.

    Setup
    Merkur Vision Adjustable
    Art of Shaving Silvertip Badger
Proraso (Aloe and Green-Tea Shaving) Soap
    Proraso After-Shave Splash
Sample Pack of Blades (Merkur, Lord, Derby, Astra)

I am having troubles adjusting the blade though. It seems as if either I am not turning it hard enough or something, but it just won't budge. Any tips?

I look forward to my first shave sometime soon.

Welcome, and good luck. I haven't used a Vision yet. The HD has served me well, though.

    Welcome to B&B!

I never had a vision so I cannot really help. Someone here probably will. If you want to try more blades, you might want to consider Personna, Crystal and Feather.

If you are looking for more Canadian vendors, have a look at this page:
