I have a new BBW that has what looks like resonably deep saw marks from shaping. I assume I want to lap these out. My question is, can I start lapping with sandpaper rougher than say 320 or should I just get comfortable and plan on lapping a while with 320 until I get through those marks?
As a follow on, should I follow up and lap for a bit on 600 after it's flattened with the 320 or should I be good to go after the 320?
