FS: Cased New Deluxe

Offered is the 1934 New Deluxe Gillette razor.

This heavy duty and effective razor is in very good shape -- all teeth in place with none bent or brassed. The case is in great shape and includes the entire instruction booklet.

The head is losing some of the plating, as seen in the photos of the top of the head, but this could be easily remedied by replating. Or you can simply accept the inevitable change in finish over the 76 years of this razor's life.

Great razor for the shaver looking for an affordable vintage open comb model razor.

By the way, although not displayed in the photos, this razor does have the usual minor hairline splits at the top of the barrel/handle. No impact on the shaving, but it does slightly diminish the aesthetics.

My silver version has become my regular shaver. I suppose someone could replate this gold one in silver...

Nice looking razor Jake. I would have jumped on it a couple of days ago, but just won one on the Bay to try out. It shouldn't last long!
