    Wink Triplets? Victoria/Semogue/Omega

I got a Victoria boar brush from my uncle in Germany, who picked it up, or rather it was almost thrown after him in an antiques store.
I really like it, lot of backbone, soft tips and a nice size and design of the handle.

I then discovered the Semogue 2000 which was pretty similar in design, so I had to try that - still breaking it in, but so far I'm very happy.

To my surprise and joy, I found that Omega also had a similar designed brush, so of course I have to try this one as well - just got it today, but I'm quite confident this one will be up there with the others if the quality is a match to my Omega 11137.

So here is a line-up of my beautiful triplets

You need a Tweezerman and the brush sold in the Body Shop (though they are badger and synthetic respectively) to make it Quintuplets!
(ok, not an real match on the shape, but you have to admit, they'd look sharp all lined up!)

The Omega -05 you purchased has the same knot as the 11137 and 10066. It's my favorite boar knot/bristle, in fact my favorite brush period. I have the Semogue 2000 as well, but I find the -05 to be a more manageable size (24 mm knot, 55 mm loft). I find the face feel to be soft and springy, very similar to my two-band badgers.

    Regards,
    Chuck

Used the Omega for the first time today - oh boy

Soaked it good and whipped up two test lathers to get the mothball smell out and then went for the real deal.
I'm astonished how soft the tips are already here at the first shave, this is looking very promising
