Default FS: Gillette Blue Tip B1

    SOLD

B1 Gillette Blue Tip in Very Good Condition. A small area of brassing exists where the blade would sit and can be seen in the bottom left corner of the second pic. There are also a few small areas of brassing under the head that can be seen in the first pic. The doors operate perfect and have a nice even gap when closed. The blue tip has over 95% of the paint intact. Shaves like a dream, but is in a stable of too many. I'll throw in 40 packaged and still wrapped Derby's as seen in the pic. $24 shipped/paypal

You and I know it is.

And I can't help but notice that there isn't anything really expensive to buy in the '56 birth year. That is probably karmic intervention from the get go!

I love my blue tip. For some reason they dont seem to have the 'street cred' they deserve.

This looks like a really nice one btw, nice job.

Must be the shade of blue..too close to sky blue Would be interesting to get the Blue, Red and Black tips and paint them all green and then ask someone to try all three, ranking them in order of which one they liked.

Nice score compliments to the happy new owner.

Thanks all for the good words for my very nice blue tip.

BTW, the black tip super speed predates the colored flare tip super speeds. The correct comparison would be blue, sliver, red flare tips. See http://wiki.badgerandblade.com/index...ng_Information

I think you will be able to tell the difference. It's a world of difference between my blue and red, this I know.

Which one do you like better?

What are the differences? I've heard the red tip is more aggressive, but does it give you a better/worse shave? Or just different?
