Well today I decided to see if I could make a woven thru and thru root pattern set of scales with the laser. First I created the pattern and programmed the laser. Placed a piece of Gray Granite Acrylic material in the laser, set the parameters and focused the beam (red dot) Then I shot the piece and 1 minute 53 seconds later the two pieces where done. (Note the reflection of the B&B logo on the laser lid). Next I lined out the rest of the pattern for all the hand back carving and filing.
